Quality Assurance and Inspection

ILP’s quality management system is built around the philosophy of prevention, that is, quality assurance rather than detection or final product inspection. It is considered prudent to be associated right from the initial stages of project conceptualisation and at all appropriate stages so that the chances of rejection at the final stage are eliminated. The process of ‘Inspection and Rejection’ cannot be used for execution of projects where the implications of rejection are high, in terms of delay in project completion target dates. We follow the specific quality requirements by our clients and further specify quality requirements in our technical specifications for projects. All our vendors and sub-vendors are selected based on stipulated qualifying and technical requirements. The quality is maintained through the implementation of an agreed quality plan. We also implement agreed field quality plans to ensure quality during installation, testing and commissioning of goods and materials at the site. We have various inspection offices spread all over the country to ensure timely inspections. We have also implemented a web-based inspection management system for our total quality assurance and inspection process.

ILP is committed to:

  • Establish and maintain an EHS risk management system.
  • Adhere to latest health and safety compliance.
  • Encourage responsibility towards creating a safe work environment.
  • Risk mitigation through education, instruction, information and supervision across employee levels.
  • Document hazards, assess risk, control risk and monitor process.
  • Prompt reporting and investigation of incidents and hazards.
